Mercedes' campaign to clinch the runners-up spot in the constructors championship took a significant step forward in Austin as both Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg scored points.

PCXmerc, Amazing performance from Lulu man, Passing Kimi while he's sat at home is a massive achievement man, in fact it's mega man.

Oh wait Lulu said after the race that it meant nothing, man.

Merc have done well given where they were in years gone past. It would perhaps have helped to find those cracks a little earlier though.

The change of tyres has clearly done for any competition this season frankly and let's hope there is some sense in the tyre acquisition policy of F1 soon or next year will not be any different as Pirelli will be forced to play safe. Assuming they make any tyres at all of course...

oh well taipan at least hamilton finished 32 secs infront of his teammate and 5 places infront.. good start by hamilton dont agree with the way he was on the radio "let me focus" then "tell me more" what the effing hell do you want! yh kimi is sat at home but thats his choice his fault not hamiltons, cant wait till next week hamilton vs webber for 3rd in chapionship and only 6 points difference!
