He'll go down in history as one of Ferrari's most loyal servants. It would be great to see him in a competitive Williams next season.

Has anyone noticed/mentioned that Ferrari, thanks in part to Felipe are currently on the longest consecutive points scoring run in history? 66 races in a row, the previous record was 64 by McLaren. I haven't heard any of the commentators mention it.

flip can be proud. there are many many other drivers who have gone knocking on Ferraris door, desperate to get a drive, but have all been knocked back for various reasons.
its a shame he is going because Ferrari needed someone to give ferdi a kick up the backside.
good luck for next year, flip.

I'm not going to compare Massa's skills to Barrichello's 'cause none of them got a clear shot at showing what they have other than Massa on the last 5 races of 2008 (when Ferrari decided it was time for Raikkonen to walk).

Having said that, they both should be proud of their time in the team. They did what the team wanted to do and, even if that is not what a racer wants, it is what they were ultimately hired to do.
