Paul di Resta resigned to his fate – and set for either a return to the DTM or a switch to IndyCar in 2014?

Whitmarsh: "It is a complicated sport these days, and there are drivers with less talent than Paul - either entering the sport or remaining in the sport - and that is sad."

Who's he referring to as remaining in the sport? MulderNandos?

Paul should have been more discreet and less arrogant when he first arrived with FIndia. He has made some pretty unpopular comments, and burnt too many bridges, and that is one of the main reasons he is highly unlikely to stay in F1. He has got as far as he can, and now will disapppear from the radar.....

There are many drivers out there with less talent than Paul that's staying in the sport. Di Resta deserves a drive somewhere he's a great driver and u think his performances in Bahrain & Abu Dhabi prove this. He easily beat Sutil this year and was never really challenged him often in the races.

As a fellow Scot I want to cheer on a homegrown hero. Please someone in F1 see sense and give him a drive rather than a paid driver!

Did anyone see at the end of the Sky F1 broadcast that Ted and Crofty said they wouldnt miss "being ignored by PdR" during 2014...........he's been well off the BBC / Sky radar lately which I think sums up what everyone feels about him. Sorry Paul but enjoy Indy Car

di resta made few friends in dtm, due to his over agresive moves. It seemed to impress merc who got him a testing role in macca, but he has never gelled in f1. his attitude sucks. I doubt that he will be missed by many.
