You have to wonder how much Kimi's back problem potentially cost Lotus, it was suggested that Ferrari lost $10m going from second to third in the constructors championship, so how much has it cost Lotus going from a possible second to forth? Second might have been enough of a return to keep Genii interested.

Williams have shown ambition in dropping Maldonado and signing Massa and Symonds I hope it pays off.

They will certainly be sad to see the end of the PDVSA logo on their rear wing when the money stops coming in.
@Crash Net. this site is becoming more difficult to navigate by the minute, it's about time the problems are fixed.

Next season has all the hallmarks of turning into a complete disaster financially for any of the teams where funding is a major issue particularly with regard to the new powertrain and development required to adapt to it !
Can anyone outline the incentive to carry on pouring money in to F1 and the reasons to justify it at this level ,as it is now in the hands of some extremely dubious characters. Money laundering is one thing that springs to mind, but as a long term investment the figures do not add up!!
