Kate Walker: "At present, Brawn's future is a matter of speculation, not fact. The only certainty is that if he does leave F1 it will be because he wants to, and not because he has to..."

Even though his contract doesn't expire until the end of the year, I assume he will be put on gardening leave to reduce the amount of information he knows about next years Mercedes to take to another team.

which ever team he goes, I'm sure Rosberg will soon follow. Also wolf, lauda and paddy will be making sure lulu won't be looking dense, specially after what he's being paid and not proving any faster than Nico.

If I recall Brawn did not really like dealing with Honda's set up with having to fly back and forth to Japan all the time. I'm sure now 3-4 years on in age, he's even less willing to do that. Although If he did replace Witmarsh, Honda will only be an engine supplier so that could help ease the burden. I do not see him going to Williams, as they seem to have Claire in place and also Pat Symmonds as the technical director. If he shows up @ Williams, it seems it will be Merc part 2 (to many cooks in the kitchen).

The question is will Brawn take a lesser role in 2014 to wait to replace a team principle for 2015? Also if Brawn does go to McL how will he and Ron Dennis get on?
