F1 » VW rules out F1 bid


Reigning World Rally champion VW has ruled out becoming a bidder in the FIA's latest offer of a place on the F1 grid for 2015 or 2016.

Why don't they buy Cosworth, they are very experienced and used to the last specification of cars & engines?
I am amazed that Mercedes or VW / Audi don't want to supply engines to Red Bull. Austrian team, German speaking and German driver.

* Porsche are not part of the VW / Audi Group, they own it. My dad is Porsche driver and deals with them all the time.

aldo. Mercedes were I talks with rbr,but rbr went for Renault instead. probably as they are top dog at Renault whereas with merc, hey would be second to the merc team.

I see your dad has a Porsche. is it a front porsche or a back porsche? :D :D

sunny. yeah. I had one a few years back with the 412 engine and d jetronic beautiful handling car.

not quite sure if you got my joke?? on a house, you can have a por(s)ch(e) at the front , and/or one at the back. its a very old joke.....
