Allison is a proven master of aero and chassis design. Ferrari have spent a lot of money buying up personnel and upgrading their shabby wind tunnel (again).
I think they went to no expense at getting Allison back as they are aware that he was a large part of not only their past success but the success of Renault and lotus. I look forward to seeing Kimi get the most out of this aerodynamically sound prancing horse next year.

funny that ferrari says cutting edge when Newey has just said the rule book is now so tight that the book itself Dictates the car you will design/run. with no wiggle room at all.

PCXmerc, So you're whining about lack of innovation but your cure to all of F1's ills is to implement a weight penalty for cars with a performance advantage.

A great way to discourage innovation!
