There is no doubt that the team build-up by Brawn for Mercedes are amongst the best in F1 even so the ship is now by far the most top-heavy, they now even have three captains all on the same watch with two in the wheel house with both hands on the tiller at the same time and one outside the wheel house on watch-out duty.
Anyhow Mercedes has made big progress from dishing out cash to have their name on the valve covers of somebody else engine to producing their own engine and to finally wanting to produce the best engine.

Rob, I don't think bringing in Niki (a figure head) Paddy (his successor) or Toto (God knows what he does) would have been Brawn's idea.

As for your last post, yeah we know Lulu always tells the truth, cough!

THERE'S THIS DRIVER WHO TOOK F1 BY STORM!!! ... he almost won the championship during his rookie year, and sure enough he bagged his first, and only, championship the very next season. why? because he had the luxury of being with a race-winning team with a race-winning car right at his F1 career's onset. an instant success and he was an overnight sensation... not only was he winning, he was winning for a very iconic F1 team with a very rich f1 tradition. he then switched teams and since then, he struggled and hasn't done anything worth describing as spectacular. now his detractors claim he wasn't really all that... a media creation who merely looked good because he was fortunate to be parachuted right into a race winning car at the start of his career. his harshest critics even call him a fluke. well at least we saw vettel, alonso, and raikkonen rise from the ranks, all had stints as test drivers and had to prove their worth in lesser cars before finally being rewarded with a race-winn
