Although part of me felt the 27 should have gone to a Ferrari driver and the other part felt it should not have been used at all, I am rather chuffed that it's been awarded to Hulkenberg!

I also kind of the like the fact Maldonado has opted for 13, he clearly has a sense of humour which is always nice to see.

Taipan, we must recognise that Maldonado has the sense of humor. If he crashes on someone...it's not is fault, just the unlucky 13.
The choice of Vettel is very interesting. If you remember, a few years ago Hamilton compared Vettel to Nigel Mansell, a poor Nigel Mansell as he said exactly. If Vettel doesn't win the WDC he will use number 5 the following year. If he paints the number in red we will see the return of the famous red five of Mansell. Hamilton was not so wrong at the time. Vettel and Mansell have something in common after all.

Fire, Good points, Lets hope Vettel doesn't start fainting and doing Mansell's dying swan routine at every opportunity.

ps sorry I hit disagree instead of agree on your comment. :(

Firestorm, Off topic I know you're a bit of a Prost fan and I came across a blog recently written by Graham Keilloh (Autosport journalist) that I thought might interest you, beautifully written and I agree with every word of it. Google "talking about F1 Prost" and let me know what you think.
