mrfill: Perhaps Bernie can bung them some dosh. Oh no, just a minute....

Bernie has put in a bid to buy the Nurburgring, not just the F1 circuit but also the Nordschleife and the amusement park and if he doesn't win that auction he will try and buy Hockenheim because he's determined that F1 must have a German GP.
Kind of strange as we've not had a GP at Paul Riccard in all the time he's owned it.

Ty why use the username Tiapan - 'a large highly venomous elapid snake, Oxyur**** scutellatus, of NE Australia'

I have an interest in herpetology, and I share a trait with the taipan in that I'm actually quite well natured until provoked. The snake you mention Oxyur**** scutellatus is the coastal taipan I'm more of an inland taipan Oxyur**** microlepidotus. Know as the fierce snake in Australia, due to the strength of it's venom not it's behaviour, around 700 times more toxic than the average rattlesnake.

Edit, Not allowed to say my Latin name then!

I suspect the Lotus participation is hanging by a thread, I can't see that Maldonado's backers have paid enough to fund the entire season, just does'nt seem plausible. I suspect Lopez is just trying to bluff it out while they rush round with the begging bowls. He need'nt come knocking on my door!!!
