On this article it was written: The pair will form potentially the strongest partnership on the grid in 2014, although Mercedes Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg may want to have a say about that.
What do you guys think about it? Who has the best driver line-up at the moment? Ferrari or Mercedes? I would wish to know your opinions. As for me, Ferrari drivers has the race pace and consistency that Mercedes drivers can only dream about. Although the guys on silver looks faster on qualifying. My vote goes for Fernando and Kimi.

firestorm. best driver line up? well,it all depends on what you want to win!

if your objective is the wcc, the yes, Ferrari have the best line up, (provided there are no shenanigans between the two)

for wdc, then rbr are probably the best placed. with a 4xwdc in one car, and a driver who is unlikely to challenge but who might just help in stopping others take points from vettel

Firestorm, Between Merc and Ferrari I's say the Ferrari pair are in a different league. Both very experienced and both very consistent at getting the most out of a race. I honestly don't see any problems arising between the pair other than taking points off each other. I don't see that being a problem at RBR as I'd be surprised if Vettel doesn't have the upper hand from the start and probably starts the season as favourite again.

Nico has proved he's as good as Lulu over a season but I wouldn't rate him in the top 3 and until Lulu can find the sort of consistency of Alonso, Vettel and Kimi he wont be in the top 3 either.

Sorry fanboys but it's the truth.

On paper Ferrari has the upper hand. But if they start to have the usual issues at Red will all the calls to the team and drivers it could be a nightmare. Alonso called out the team last year and got smacked around by Luca. If it starts again I can see major issues. Nico and Lewis are very strong as well and seem to get along very well as team mates. And Seb didn't need a team mate last year to win the WDC and WCC for Red Bull so if he comes out of the box hot they could win both.

In terms of race finishes and points collection, the Ferrari combination is the strongest on paper. A lot will come down to the cars that Ferrari and Merc hand to their drivers. We all know that Newey and his team will deliver for Vettel and Ricciardo, so the rest is all ifs and buts.

As the season wears on, I can see the Ferrari duo overcoming Ricciardo. But Vettel is a different animal...
