Wolff is basically justifying his own existence and his treatment of Ross Brawn. Why is Paddy Lowe a better fit than Ross Brawn? What can he do that Ross Brawn is not qualified to do? Ross Brawn leaving was more down to politics and political maneuvering than to do with his skillset.
Unpleasant people in an unpleasant business!

Team principles are a thing of the past. McLaren restructuring the same as Merc. Modern F1 has changed the entire outlook on how a team gets to the track. Ross left knowing all of the above. And is happy

rob. have you not realised that there is a HUGE difference between team principles, and team principals?
a team principle is to make sure that the highest cost driver gets preference.
a team principal is the one who usually orders it!

hes/the teams he has been with have had some good success during his tours at Williams and Mercedes. Success seems to follow him around, or maybe hes just really lucky. Time will tell, but he seems to have a strong track record.

PCX, It's rare to meet someone who I disagree with on everything but in you I seem to have met that person.

Just what success did Williams have with Toto? a one off win from Maldonado. Wolff is a wealthy investor and that's why he's in F1, nothing to do with bringing success to teams.

Williams had a pretty good run that year Taipan, that wasn't their only good race that year.

No, Taipan, I am sure his influence has nothing to do with the direction of their team :)

But, I am surprised that you like the new formula for 2014 so much (disagree with everything?), seeing as how I think its just a gimmick to make tv viewers happier and promote an agenda. lolz.
