Wow,This almost makes sense. as long as they give the top ten get the extra set of tyres. I'm sure eleventh will be miffed as well why not use the %107 rule

But one set still might not be enough, who knows with the extra load from energy regeneration. And who knows with out an actual race week, with the new power/ tyres, just how many total tyres will be needed?
premature I'm thinking

Funny how they are suddenly pretending to think about the fans after the universally loathed double points rule.

Suddenly realised their house of cards can fall down if no one is watching?

Seems that once you introduce a 'gimmick' you need another one to offset a problem the first one created. Then you need another to offset a problem the second one created... and so on and so.......

F1, Please just stop with the gimmicks and lets get back to pure racing..... that's really what everyone wants to see.

You are absolutely correct. As I said in a previous story, Formula 1 has lost it's way and the days when it was seen as a thoroughbred racing series are over.

The speed has gone, the noise has gone, the aerodynamics potential has been crucified, in essence it has become a 'Challenge Formula' and nothing more than a test bed for politically green enterprise.

People have and will continue fall out of love with the sport now because the 'spectacle' has all but been removed. An utter travesty - the powers behind closed doors that have ruined what was once an adrenaline and passionate filled sport should hang their heads in shame.

Why the complecations. One set for qualifying. Finish and klaar. Drivers will have to be conservative in the first two to save the best for the deceider. No advantage from skipping a run. After qualifying the tyres are scrap.
