Just my opinion but to me, Anthony Hamilton seems dishonest and it would appear an attempt was made to hide evidence.

They probably agreed to forget about it. No one wins as the distraction probably didn't help di Resta at a crucial stage in his F1 career and I doubt Anthony Hamilton's has a queue of drivers wanting him to represent them.

Taz, apart from the “dirty one” (spells unwashed) and so his smell gives him away, you are not alone or the first as in court Paul Downes QC told him there and then “Mr Hamilton, you are a dishonest man”.

@ dwr

As much as I agree with you regards Paul's behaviour over the years Anthony Hamilton has not come out of this with any credibility as he has made statements and then back tracked on those statements making him look not so clean. One that really stuck in my throat was him saying he had not been paid 4 million by his son on them splitting in 2010 only for him to say different later on, the irony of all this although Anthony was taking Paul to court it looked like it was Anthony who was on trial.

PDR I felt did show potential... Certainly in the first half of last season he did appear to do very well considering the car he was driving, certainly better than other drivers in similar level team...

It was surprising when Lewis got rid of his own Dad, but seems he was right about him, I don't think anyone in high level motorsport will go near Anthony Hamilton now. Always thought he was riding Lewis' coat tails a bit, and showing up around the paddock a bit too much, always trying to get on screen. Ah well, bit of an ego, good riddance!
