Long-time F1 head man Bernie Ecclestone appears to have dropped out of the race to acquire the insolvent Nurburgring complex as the deadline for bids nears.

This is fairly clear cut...

Media are talking about F1 because the season is due to start, ergo Bernie doesn't need to machinate his own plans to keep the column-inches going.

His 'interest' was likely two-fold. Column-inches during the off-season + try and appeal to the German's patriotic interests, hoping they'll make the charges go away.

Guess his interest waned when the prosecutors decided to go carry on with their case.

Not that I'm suggesting it was a bribe (in case Bernie's lawyers are watching).

LOL ...

you put your one bid in,
you take your one bid out,
you put your one bid in
and you shake it all about

You do the hocus pocus
and you turn yourself around
and that's what he's all about!

Everyone here seems to be in agreement about his motives...... Bernies good at one thing.... bringing everyone together..... and against HIM.

So he very much wants to be involved....... but when it comes time to put up or shut up he............. hmm this reminds me of something else that happened recently in F1....... Mr Ijaz do you remember what that was?
