After being comfortably outqualified by Daniel Ricciardo, Sebastian Vettel says he had a software issue in qualifying

Software or whatever else, it will be, at least, one obvious way (swapping cars excluded) to match Ricci's performance: copying all the DR car setup, in detail.
One more reason to regret the long gone times, when the word software had nothing to do with a car setup, anyway.

The cheering was in pretty bad taste, I expected the Aussies to be a bit more sporting than that.

But I'm thinking Vettel will have the last laugh, the RB10 is nowhere near the pup that was expected. IF it's reliable he's going to be in the mix pretty soon.

How can cheering on your hometown hero be in bad taste? It's no different in silverstone when Vettel broke down and the Brits wanted Hamilton to win. Or in Germany they cheered because vettel won. It's no different to you cheering in a World Cup penalty shoot out and you cheer because the opposing team missed the penalty. I don't get how it's bad taste.

Taipan: Smithy do you have difficulty thinking?

Cheering Dan for doing well is absolutely fine, cheering Vettel for missing out on Q3 is fairly petty and unsporting.

Well the hangover don't help but even so if they were booing yeah I would agree with you but cheering ? No I don't think that's unsporting. Like I said before it's the exactly the same as you cheering in a World Cup penalty shoot out when the opposing team misses that's all.

Smithy, the cheering was because Vettel didn't make-it, it was in bad taste like it was anywhere else, there was and there is not any difference between the British fanboys and those from down under or anywhere else for that matter.
