Later on in the season when Lulu gets the engine change penalty, he and his fans will no doubt forget about Aus when he ignored the teams request to come in and save the engine ... and point fingers at everyone else.

full of it .... you really are!
it was one lap and engineer radio calls are usually behind 10-20 secs so hammi was going into the 1st corner when they told him to stay out (what we see) if it was the case of radio calls being delayed then hamilton would of been told to stay out before reaching pit entry,
if not the case then 1 lap wouldnt made much difference the team said they knew he had a problem on the formation lap so thy let him race knowing h had a problm even tho it was only 2/3 laps

@ full of, I here what you are saying and it makes sense, but any member of the powertrian can be repaired and would not constitute an item change so driving on five cylinders may not of been a problem if the team thought it could be repaired but as Lewis was being passed easily it was clear he would not of scored any points on five cylinders so yes it makes sense to retire him and save the engine for another day.

re the starts by mercs. I heard that they have two clutch systems. one purely for the start which has a certain amount of slip in it to prevent wheelspin after initial start, a secondary clutch takes over which allows no slip. I don't really understand it,but it has apparently considerable benefits.
