It would be really nice to see Caterham have a weekend with little to no issues. I'm eager to see what kind of performance Kamui can bring out of the car with proper setup. Such little time in practice sessions has been a big hinderance and could potentially cost them a chance of scoring their first points.

As it is, I think Caterham are in a different league to Marussia this year and much closer to the midfield than we think, but they aren't able to fully show their pace yet. I'm hoping Bahrain will be a turning point as they dial the car in.

The races I usually look forward to the most that are on this years calender are Australia, Monaco, Canada, Austria, GB, Belgium, Italy, Japan, US and Brazil.

So mostly a bunch of street races and the old school tracks with nice fast flowing sections.

The rest I'm kinda watching just because it's F1...Particularly the races in Bahrain, Spain and Abu Dhabi, almost nothing ever happens. Hungary used to be in that last group as well but I feel like that's one of the tracks where the DRS actually made a big difference as you can now pass into turn 1 or put pressure on the guy in front and either overtake on the inside of 2 or run on the outside and have the inside line into 3.

US is the best Tilke track, but I think the design of the circuit isn't even done by Tilke.

This could be their break-through year. Even as they are, Caterham are slightly ahead of Marussia, and rookie Ericsson managed to compete well with both of their drivers. If the Marussia was improved from before, then surely Bianchi (of the two) would have found himself in front of the Caterhams. As a Heikki fan, I was a little upset at KK's appointment, over him but I have to say, I am beginning to think KK will deliver the goods!

benignlyindifferent: Does anyone know, is this their first year using the TMG wind tunnel?

Yes - first time used
“The [Toyota] facility allows us to run at 60 percent scale, more than the 50 percent scale we have been using to date, and that has obvious benefits in increasing the accuracy of the data generated in the tunnel,” team principal Cyril Abiteboul said
