this could be interesting.

merc needs to get out of the gate and away from the hungry, nay - starving, folks from row 2. that should put quite a buffer from row 3 on back.

the only ones that can puncture through should be: hulk, vettel, ricciardo, and alonso. not to say there won't be others pushing forward against those fending off.

hope the competition between 3rd and 4th improves the competition from 1st and 2nd.o

Mercedes is mighty, but not quite as mighty as last race. The gap, while considerable, is no longer 1.5 seconds. With night running and varying rates of tire degradation it might be a little closer at the front, and if one or two of the drivers on row two and three are able to jump the Mercedes at the start, proceedings could be entertaining.
I am very interested in the inner team battles. Button is quicker than Kevin, even though he is not known as a qualifying master. Bottas is up on Massa. Kimi out qualified Alonso by a considerable gap, and Ricciardo will start only two places behind Seb, despite his ten place penalty. I am hoping the Mercedes do not run away and hide. If they do not, we may have an entertaining race.

What a distorted headline. Nico won pole fair and square. Lulu blew it, plain and simple. He was slower on his first attempt, then screwed up trying to better Nico on his second attempt. Hard luck Hamilton. Rossi is about to pull the rug out from under Hammi's feet. Oh, how that must hurt. LOL.

Yeah, I too was confused by the headline. Lulu screwed it up trying to 'take' what he thought was rightfully his. This mentality goes way back to when Ron Dennis catered to him. Its a different world today, and Nico has the ability to beat Lulu. Lulu's attitude toward this relationship will be his undoig.
A job well done Nico!

Did you actually read what you wrote, or did you just vomit the words and press submit. That is a very narrow minded point of view.
However. That is only my view on yours.
Well done Nico, almost as quick as last year.
Good luck to the Mercedes duo.
P.s. Don't be too offended, it's sport.

It's Good to Talk.

I'd be willing to bet the farm if Mercedes has a WDC this year, it will be Rosberg. He may not have the outright speed of Hamilton, but he's a lot more consistent and much more controlled in pressure situations.
