Wicked looking. Now the debate about the low nose scooping up EG's car or if the old high nose would have been a high chassis hit or worse.

Pit exits can be troublesome anyway, maybe Esteban could have left a wider gap?

This fool from South America should be kicked out of the sport for good, take your sponsorship and go and murder ppl elsewhere we don't need his kind in a sport so dangerously fast as F1

He has no place in F1.

Yes he has speed but no race craft, no spacial awareness and a bad attitude to boot (it's never his fault). Money has kept him in F1.

I was critical of Perez as a pay driver but to be fair to him he drove very well today . This guy though....jeez.

Such a shame that lotus had no option, with all their money problems, but to take this smug looking prick, who is a danger to everyone including himself. I cant wait till venezuela runs out of oil. Then they can stop funding this idiot

Shocking crash, I can't remember the last time I've seen an f1 car roll.

Those low noses are going to be troubling. I imagine the first time some one gets rear ended we will see a car flip again.

Maldonado is a menace,

I just think back to Dan's 10 place grid penalty for an innocuous wheel nut problem, & can't help wondering how hitting another car and causing it to roll justifies just a 5 place grid drop?

Was thinking the same thing. There's no consistency in penalties, it's been evident for a few years now.
