for me senna was a bit of a cheat, and would do anything to win a race or championship
taking other drivers out to win a championship and pushing other drivers out to win races is not a great for me im sorry to say,

i do like the safety that the guy pushed into the sport tho!

For me the current drivers are wimps and would never have survived the yesteryears...
and who wants to come second at all costs paddock?

richard: ayrton. well if all the current drivers are wimps, why do you bother watching? (and commenting?)

Cause I love engines, cars and bikes. The difference between being a great driver and a good driver was exactly 20 years ago yesterday.

well said richard,

ayrton... if all drivers from your point of view wouldn't of survived the "yesteryears" as you put it and you are thinking that only good drivers are on the grid, then why even waste your time with f1 theres plenty other vehicle related racing about, go please others with your nonsense!

The point is that the cars of today do not allow for drivers to show their true skills. The top 10 drivers would all win races in the merc. The car is 90% of the result whereas 25 years ago a semi decent car could win a race with a great driver like mansell prost senna. I still say those guys earned their pay,.
