It is pretty normal for a new CEO to come into a company and learn how and why a company does things a certain way before initiating changes.

Every time I have seen or read something about Mattiacci by Alonso, he has never come over as being especially keen to sing his praises.

I think what he meant to say was "You ratbags, you sacked my best mate and got in Arthur Daley"
