Felipe Massa says the relationship between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg doesn't matter because Mercedes is so dominant this season

Can't say I agree with that view, I'm sure Wolff and Lauda want an ordered procession towards the championship with Hamilton being the chosen champion. Lauda has already said he will sort out any problems and any incidents that lose the team points will be harshly looked upon. In theory letting your drivers race each other is fine but it does'nt work in practice because one of them will push too far and I think we might know who that might be in this case. Either way Red Bull are closing up so they need to watch their step.

With Lulu and Nico taking points off each other at the front the gap to Alonso and the Red Bulls isn't that huge.
2 DNF's for the Mercs (perfectly plausible given their relationship) and 2 wins for Alonso or the RBR's and they're right back in the fight.

I don't think it will happen, but IF a genuine improvement is made, lets say with the RB10, look how dominant Vettel has been at the tracks in the second half of the season in recent years, you never know.

Oldgit, why do you think Lulu is the chosen one? What gives you that idea? Wouldn't it make more sense for a German company to want a German driver to be WC? I don't see any reason for them favoring Lulu, other than to prove how liberal and non racist they are, but really, that would be a long shot.. If that is their intention, then there could never be a worse reason, and I'll be rooting for RBR from here on in if I detect any anti Rosberg sentiment emanating from Mercedes leadership., and it would certainly deter me from ever buying one of their products.

Stevenage councillors unhappy with Lulu's anti-Stevenage comments.

One of them saying - "The £1m+ house that the Hamilton's moved into BEFORE Lulu broke into F1 was hardly squalor!"

Poor little Lulu, brought up in a £1m+ shack, no wonder he has a chip on his shoulder....

Edit, To appease Oddbod, my apologies the comment about Lulu's £1m+ house was not made by a councillor but this was...

"I can't see how he can say such things about the place where he grew up" Cllr Philip Bibby, councillor for the Woodfield area where Mr Hamilton lived, told the Comet, the local newspaper. "He needs to remember his roots"

Perhaps you can phone Councillor Bibby to confirm that he actually did say this. His phone number is 01438 316955.

An interesting theory, and, if it happened, would certainly improve this season's viewing prospects!

Rob, yeah they're still a long way behind, but if you remember how awful their car was during pre-season their rate of progress has been the best on the grid. They have been fighting for and have scored podiums in the first 6 races, who'd have thought that given where they started?

But still a long way to go, no doubt about that.
