Never go back? Not sure that completely true in life. Worked for two companies twice at various stages, can't say I regretted it. Probably true of girlfriends though :)

Lulu may yet go back to McLaren if he keeps embarrassing the Merc brand. Alonso may go back to McLaren, you never know so don't burn your bridges....oh hang on.

Odubbryer: I'm not sure if it was a formal retirement but Fangio followed his glorious 57 season with a real bitsa 58 season

There were reasons for that, firstly he only took part in 3 races, 2 for Maseratti which was well off the pace of the Ferrari's, Vanwall's and even Cooper,s but he still finished 4th in both. His only other entry that year was at Indy using the out classed Novi engine where he didn't qualify.

Taipan: Mansell's has to be the funniest comeback, the return of the king, unfortunately it was more like return of the Burger King as his ar$e was too big to fit in the car.

It was even more funny as he was on telly at the time advertising Cadburys twirls. I guess they give him a few pallets as a signing on sweetener.

Was he? LOL I don't remember that, explains the need for the wide bodied McLaren!

Was it all softly lit and seductive like the Flake Girl? Fat Nige sat in the bath with bits of Twirl sticking to his tash.

"The promotion will include a £500,000 TV campaign."

£100,000 for the adverts and £400,000 for Nigel's Twirl supply!
