I used to think Bianchi was overrated, but after his great (and aggressive!) drive in Monaco, I'm warming to him now. ... Never been a fan of Kimi and his return to F1 has been pretty underwhelming... even now at Ferrari. If he'd stayed at Lotus, he would probably be worse-off than he is now! I've said before, I reckon Kimi will "walk" sooner than later.. he'll do some sort of deal money-wise, take a break and go off into another series that takes his fancy. It's just not working-out for him, is it?
Can't see him liking being trounced by Alonso every race!
They could probably get Bianchi cheap anyway and it would be interesting to see what he can do with this year's car against Alonso.

JimmyTheRealOne: Just give him the seat full-time!

So you reckon Ferrari buying out Kimi's contract in full and sticking Bianchi in the car is going to revive their fortunes?

The rookie should be given the chance. Just to see if his enthusiasm alone is enough to improve on Ferrari's 2nd driver's performance. There's not much to lose - one or two points at most.

Similar to what Dan is doing for Redbull.
Allow him to realize his full potential.
We can all speculate all the way as usual, but it's just our usual two cents worth commentary
No one knows the eventual outcome till the attempt is made.
Cheers guys.

Bianchi is calling for a better car since he came into F1. But I don't think it's good for him to get the Ferrari for one race (if kimi is not fit) and with Alonso as a team mate.
He could finish like Fisichella, or more recently Kovalainen with his Lotus nightmare.
A full season is what he needs IMHO.
As for Ferrari, better call Delarosa for the seat if needed. He has nothing to loose nor to demonstrate and will bring a good amount of feedback to develop next year's car.
