With apologises for this piece being totally off-topic, If rumours doing the rounds are true, FRIC was just part “A” of the FIA bombshell, part “B” is being said to be the clamping-down on the rate and flow of hybrid power.
And according to the technical information I have , things cannot but go the way the FIA wants them to go, like the FRIC thing.

Multi - tasking, multi-discipline, Engineer, Driver and designer. Apart from his great achievements in Motorsport, I bet Piero Taruffi wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty and join in with the rest of the crew when it was required.
