It wasn't long ago that SV was unbeatable. Now, Sebastian is working his tail off to finish top five.

Without overstating the obvious, At the pinnacle of motorsports, it's ALL about the equipment. World champions don't luck their way to titles. The Nicky Hayden detractors continue to overlook this "minor" aspect that defines winning or losing.

Much like NH69 has been for the past six years, SV is now in the same boat.

Best of luck to both WC's. They deserve it.

Not really the same though, Nicky Hayden got booted off team Repsol on to an inferior bike, owned and operated by arrogance, while Red Bull still have Vettel and Red Bull, don't have the same kind of ethic as Ducati or most of the other Italian racing outfits. Red Bull just need a works power unit that isn't the slowest on the grid. Renault's is still a POS, and still the slowest.

But it's fair that everyone is running the same tires (Vettel 2013) and it's fair that everyone is running the same configuration motors (Mercedes 2014). Nothing in life is fair, equal, or every really quite the same for all. Nicky would be better off in WSBK, but Vettel still has a shot in F1.

Good race from Seb. Proof is in the tasting...Vettel doesn't win but only 4 posts (including mine) on this thread and none overly scathing of him.

I especially notice the lack of comparrison between he and his team mate?
