Ferrari produced a car with good front end until first half of 2008. Then they started making changes to car which would not suit Kimi's style. Schumacher who was then an consultant to ferrari mentioned it in an interview that the changes they made did not work for Raikkonen but worked great for Massa who then started earning podiums on consistent basis. intact that was the last straw in Michael and Raikonnen's relationship i believe. Kimi believed michael supervised the changes which screwed up a winning car and Michael thought Kimi doesn't communicate if something goes wrong (Michael said that in a youtube video)

After that Ferrari never produced a car with good front end. Keep in mind Alonso is more of like Button who driving style requires the car setup for bit of understeer. A car with strong front end will almost never understeer and hence won't suit his style. That is the reason why Alonso / Button can make dog of cars punch above their weight, but when the car alm

there is very little between the results of alonso and the results of raikkonen in the last half of the 2009 season when he had the same support as alonso has now.

I agree. But on traditional tracks like monaco, catalunya, hungary kimi was better than fernando on raceday. Spa being an other one and kimi's personal favourite, he might outrace Fernando.

We must hand to it Raikonnen this year...verbally more often than not politically correct ..."not really bad anywhere ...not fantastic either".
In other words they are no where near a winning formula.
