F1 » Williams’ objectives 'are clear' heading to Spa

With drivers and team personnel raring to go after a four-week summer hiatus, the Belgian Grand Prix should present Williams with the chance of another decent points haul.

quite a few (me included) think the next two races are at tracks that play to the strengths of the williams. some caution needs to be exercised though, 'lewis (in the best car this year) is a monster in canada' or 'lewis loves hungary' both progressed to unexpected wins for danni ricciardos red bull. felipe's 'I won here in 2008, so I know what it takes to win...' seems a little delusional considering he actually finished about half a minute behind the first car to take the chequered flag. i merely hope that the whole team dots all the 'I's and crosses all the 'T's in their preparations and realises their potential. along with all the preperation, a dose of good fortune (maybe what felipe was referring to) wouldnt go amiss.

They should go well, hope Felipe can get round without hitting another car.

I think when they say they're optimistic about Spa they mean "we can fight for 3rd and 4th" as no one actually expects to beat Mercedes straight up...

Of course there's always a chance that one of the Mercedes cars will present a problem during the race as we have seen happen a few times this year but I honestly don't believe anyone in the Williams garage is counting on that happening again.

Massa's words mean what they mean, he's won there so he knows what it takes to do it. No one can take that away from him. Not even the 'Massa post spring accident' can. What they don't mean is that he truly believes he will win again at Spa this year.
