Caterham can go to hell. Nothing against Lotterer, really. But we know that the best component in this year's Caterham F1 car was Kamui. And he drove his heart out sorely on blind faith in the team. He deserves better than this. This is just low.

I find it difficult to understand how Lotterer can be faster than Kobayashi. So far as F1 goes surely he is inexperienced?

Also it's interesting to see that he has been super licenced fast tracked?

Logic would surely suggest that you replace your slower driver which isn't Kobayashi?

Very strange, that is unless Bernie is involved which then makes sense!

F1 has been so cruel to Kamui, he has more talent in his left thumb than several drivers on the F1 grid, all of which have far superior drives. He is exciting on and off the track and how is he repaid? With his p45. All the best to Andre, it's not his fault and granted he does have an impressive CV, but he doesn't deserve Kamui's seat. Bad call Caterham.

Why are you so surprised? This is Formula 1, for God's sake!!! Money talk here. And Caterham is no Ferrari, no Red Bull, no Mercedes.
And I really can't see why Kobayashi is so worshipped. Yeah, he is a good driver, probably better than many on F1 grid today. But there have been multiple drivers like him who lost seat - or even never made it into F1 - because of insufficient funds. And honestly he hasn't set the world on fire either.
But if he's as good as you say, he'll certainly find a seat in some established team for next year, won't he?

Caterham seem to be grasping at straws... getting desperate... maybe they're not that impressed with KK (?) Yes, I know everyone on here is singing his praises, but why KK and not Ericsson? I'm sure they could "drop" Ericsson for one race without upsetting his sponsors? I'd have thought that would have been the obvious option if anything...
(to Strider.. KK hasn't been given his P45.. it's only a one-off )

Kobayashi gave up a Ferrari GT career for this, and his 'team' doesn''t even let him drive in his home grand-prix. Pathetic really. This is a reminder that this is a business, not a sport.

Good luck to Andre, whose just unlucky to be caught in the crossfire of an incompetent situation.
