Max Chilton apparently agreed to relinquish his F1 ride with Marussia at the Belgian Grand Prix in a bid to help the team financially.

Well we were all suggesting he volunteered to step down at the start of the season.

Not good though if money is that tight...either than or his dads pay drive money hasn't been forthcoming.

since m4xies dad started to "sponsor " his son, aon have stopped advertising on tv. they were a regular advertiser BM. (before m4xie). seems that it may no longer be a legitimate buiness expense?

Nah we were all suggesting Mr Bean for the Marussia seat. I don't doubt he could outqualify Bianchi on merit and earn proper achievements

Are you saying that Max's father owns Aon? Or that Aon don't like Max's dad sponsoring Maxi?

Max's father Grahame is non executive director of Benfield, AON's UK holding company and is worth £100 million.
