Mark Webber believes Mercedes has a big decision to make whether it sticks with Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton as its F1 driver line-up for 2015

There is only one driver that is a problem at Mercedes and he is Lewis Hamilton. There has been a problem with every team mate he's had. If Mercedes are daft enough to replace Rosberg, Hamilton will have a problem with the other one. My guess is that Mercedes has realized this and have renewed Rosberg's contract and they will keep him and are happy for someone else to be the next baby sitter.

In fact I believe Rosberg knows Lewis will either leave or fired and has been told to just play along with management making him the bad guy. Mercedes needs a decisive victory both in the constructor'a and driver's championships and they will humor Lewis however they can.

I can see why Horner did not want Lewis and Vettel in the same team for the reasons we are seeing at Mercedes, although Ricciardo is now showing that Vettel may not have been a match for Lewis. I agree with Webber from a team prospective Lewis and Nico may not work in 2015 especially if the other teams are going to be closer performance wise.

From the view of a F1 fan I have respect for Mercedes for allowing arguably the two fastest in F1 to race each other in the fastest car, but it could be to the detriment of the WDC. Poor Mercs dammed if they do dammed if they don't.

Last time I checked Vettel has beaten Hamilton four times as well as beating 21 other drivers four times also to secure 4 WDC's. Just because his season has been fraught with bad luck does not mean his team mate is better than he is.
