I read this as saying, Hamilton will be gone at the end of this season. Now the question is where will he end up? Surely not back to McLaren... But that seems to be where the rumor mill is pointing. On the other end I think Bottas should take Hams spot.

Given Mercedes momentum, they will be lucky to be getting podiums by the end of next year. Nico can't carry that team, that's for sure, & reliability doesn't seem to be of any interest to Mercedes either, at least so far as helping out the TV ratings.

Lewis would be better at McLaren, even if they didn't have the fastest car, as long as he can get 50-50 in terms of reliability and support. Considering Honda has had a year to study the potential of the Mercedes Power Unit, I would doubt very hard if Mercedes have any advantage over McLaren next year in terms of power, and then its a matter of setup, tires because the extra power they will be missing will be tardy'd by the more down force they will probably have to run in order to keep the FRICless Nico from falling off the track.
