Button or Bianchi? Please... lol Yes, Massa is not doing well. But neither of those have a clear edge over him. Nor bring the same amount of $.

If they want to replace Massa they might as well wait to see what will happen at Mercedes and Ferrari 'cause they might be able to grab a bargain there. Otherwise bring in Nasr and keep the Brazilian money coming in.

allan.c.martin: cant help but feel Williams will have Bottas snatched from them

I guess that will depend on how good the Honda units are... if they're good, watch out Williams 'cause they're will be new players out there and Bottas will then be in very high demand. It's highly unlikely Williams will be in a position to beat Mercedes anytime soon and Bottas has the potential to be a champion... he won't stay if they can't give him a WDC car.

Also, if Mercedes drops one of its drivers, Bottas looks to me like the most interesting option by far. RBR will never let go of the other great option which would be Ricciardo.

The Silly Season has well and truly kicked off hasn't it?

I really don't see Bottas moving from Williams any time soon or even at all. I kinda see him as a Schumacher or Hakkinen type driver, he won't quit or move until he has reached his goals, and Bottas' goal it to give Williams their first title in 17 years.

Bottas however does play a part in what McLaren can do. If Bottas keeps outperforming the Ferrari's along with Massa, Williams will be 3rd and Ferrari 4th, opening Alonso's contract clause and maybe allowing him to negotiate with McLaren. However, I can't see him moving from Ferrari simply because McLaren is no better than Ferrari at the moment and it's run by Ron Dennis again, but the Honda engines will be a big lure.

And what about Mercedes? Surely Rosberg and Hamilton won't be their lineup for next year. Since Rosberg has already committed and is the leader and most likely the champion, I believe Hamilton will move away from Mercedes early, but where to? Most likely McLar

(cont.).. Most likely McLaren, as it's his former team, a team that's brought him up and Honda will draw links to Senna, a big plus for him.

This will be a highly curious and interesting off season and driver lineups are either going to change a lot or very little at all.

Didn't quite understand the Senna reference there... are you saying he would choose to drive for McLaren because Senna used to drive for them using a Honda unit? Bit far fetched if that's the case.
