JohnMarston: I always wanted to see him in a Newey designed car. He'd probably have a few more titles to his name.

TBH there are a number of drivers on the grid who could have been multi champions in a Newey car.

Alonso had a better chance than the rest in 2010 and failed to pass the Vyborg rocket in the last race.

Should have made it 3 in a row in 2007, but let his massive ego conspire to lose the championship for him. Ironically Ferrari's last championship win by his current team mate. :-)

Hung out to dry by Ferrari in 2010, and maybe Vettel wanted more in 2012. So he could have been a 5 time champion by now, with no real complaints from anyone, but personally think his time may have gone.

Why not stick the Vettel, Alonso, Hamilton, Rosberg, Riccardo and Kimi in exactly the same car and see who is the best. I think that would be an amazing spectacle and I really have no idea who would win :-)

Much talk over the Alonso situation. Does anybody really know what his contract says, I read elseware that his contract states that if he is more than 25 points behind the championship leader at a certain point then he can leave, I also read that RD has offered him 32million$ to go to Mclaren. I don't think money motivates Alonso and Mclaren are unlikely to build a good enough chassis despite all the rhetoric coming out of Mclaren so the likelyhood is he will stay at Ferrari. However if Hamilton/Rosburg/Vettel decide to retire he might have other options, jst how likely is that?

When Ferrari unveiled their plans for their 2015 car and how much more advanced it would be. Alonso said I have seen many cars and plans unveiled and this one seems no different. He needs a change if not just for the sake of change.

After the way he was treated last time at McLaren, there is no way he'll go back. Dont think he is driven by money either do the lure of the money wont get him there either..

But there is only two drivers that has actually won multiple drivers championships in a Newey designed car.
