best move forward for BMW, they have a future race winner with kubica, he along with heidfeld are doing a good job developing the car. I can see BMW balking at the demands of Alonso, he seems to be a me-first character, and a baby. A true champion welcomes the competition his teammate is giving him, a new challenge, and extra motivation. I think he let it get to his head that the media made him to be the next f1 legend. sorry fernando, he's in the paddock right next to you. good luck on the title defense though, you're gonna need it. btw, his first championship was a fluke, if kimi's car held together for a few of those races he was actually leading he would've been champion.

I'm glad to see that BMW are sticking with the 2 very talented drivers they have.
They would have been mad to consider Alonso (and probably didn't).

The best possible solution as both Heidfeld and Kubica have turned in some inspired performances this year. As for a viable challenge to both McLaren and Ferrari in the near future though, I'm not so sure. Thankfully the "silly season" is coming to an end quicky with no major surprises and two drivers who really have earned their drives are still at Hinwil.

Any Alonso talk with BMW was absolute tripe and us people who understand F1 could see right through it anyway.

Bring on the rest of the season.

Both Nick and Robert deserve those credit. Smooth way to refuse the WC. Poor Alonso!

would have been great to have Alonso..and his championship experience..nevertheless two very good drivers rewarded for their great drives and work for BMW..things can only get better...after all the espionage etc..nice to see a team with some regard
