criticising ferrari's lack of innocence when you're a mclaren employee is a bit rich..

mclarens problem is that that theyre generating too much media attention. after the original guilty-but-not-punished verdict they should have just kept their mouths shut. almost everyone agrees that the issue at hand is that one of their employees had the ferrari dossier, how he/they planned to use it is almost irrelevant. to suggest that they had no plans to use it to gain some benefit is unbelievably naive.

i'm really starting to dislike hamilton's attitude; not just in this case, but in general.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that Ferrari as just as guilty as Mclaren, after all, their employee passed the information on so they are not exactly blameless....

you're joking right? that logic simply doesnt stand.

the onus lies on the recieving team (mclaren) to report that a ferrari employee attempted to provide them with illegal information. ferrari only lose by mclaren having this information.

having a traitor in your team doesn't pin any guilt on you.

Well said Lewis
If Ferrari were 50 points clear of Mclaren at this stage of the season would they push this issue so much? They knew about Michelins tyre a full year before they protested it after the 2003 Hungarian race when it looked like they were about to lose the title. I'd bet my life savings that Ferrari would have stuck the Stepneygate issue in the cupboard if they were winning this year, Ready to wheel out if and when Mclaren beat them.

The FIA thinks there is enough evidence for a hearing like this. Be it good or bad for McLaren. Let the FIA handle it and let LH do the driving and let him say what he has to say at the hearing. I do not see why he has to make a statement like this at this point. Does he think he is the new Bernie?
