Amazing isnt it! This bloke has lost his motivation and at two times
this year we have seen his form pick up. First when he was threatened to loose hi
drive for toyota. Then when the team principle said he wasnt even
on the short list for next year he slipped. Then after he decided
to go before being pushed , his form picks up again as there is now
no pressure to perform.
Mind you I would still turn up for work if I was being paid what he
was! I dont know where his future lies and maybe that is his problem
as he does not know either.

My brother joked this morning that Ralf would go alot better if he was on a session by session contract with his team! I say to hell with that, get him on a lap by lap contract, That's the only way to drag some kind of result out of him.

Strange thing is Toyota are one of the richest teams in F1, but as results go you would not have thought that!!
Maybe because Ralf has said he has had enough where he is and said he will not be there next season even if the had that in mind anyway for quite a while.
Put your self in the same position, if you was over pressured by your boss and then handed your notice in, the pressure then goes which is nice, and then no matter what you right or wrong your boss can nothing. In Ralfs case by saying he is leaving toyota alot of the stress goes and then he can do what he likes in the car wihout being bothered what his bosses say or think!
i do the same if i was same position!

There is too much influence coming from the big bosses with the money but none of the sense. Hopefully they will bring in some new, young blood that will invigorate their image. They only need one experienced driver, not two that just seem bored. Give the seat to a fresh, upcoming driver chance and they'll ring the neck of that Toyota - something the car (and the team) really needs!!
