I think your headline says it all- he's not going anywhere, and he hasn't done since he arrived in F1. Consistently outperformed by his teammates, occasionally inspired but usually nondescript, I'm surprised he's stayed with top to middle order teams as long as he has. With the new generation of drivers coming through, his days in F1 must be numbered.

I think Fisi is great however Renault do not seem to be able to get the best out of him. Maybe a move to another team would be a good thing especially if he would be expected to be Alonsos lap dog again!

Hey Hayley, mad cow disease, right? Go and see your doctor, before it gets worse.

On topic: Fisichella never shone. The archetypical mediocre driver. He had a bagful of chances and blew them. So it's time for some fresh blood replacing Mr. Average.

There is no better driver than fisi to push a middle to back running team into the points. He is the best to put a car in the points that shouldnt be there or on the podium that shouldnt be there.
However he never seems to do well enough in a front running car.
If I were Frank I would sign him straight away

I think we've seen a few glimpses of greatness from Fisi, but I would definitely agree that lately he hasn't been looking too good. Should he stay I think we could get to see some improvement though as the elimination of certain driving aids could favour his smoother cornering style. Seems like a few teams might be willing to agree with me on this point - but if not, he'll surely be out of F1, at least as a race driver. Personally I would like to see him get another chance with the new rules, but I know there are many young and talented (and sponsored) drivers knocking on the doors of F1 and, as Taffy said, he certainly has wasted a few decent opportunities throughout his career.

Hayley, I THINK your comment was in response to mine, but since it seems
to be written in some sort of text language gobbledegook I'm afraid I haven't the faintest idea of the point you're trying to put across.

The language of Shakespeare. God help us.

Fisi was not allowed to finish his phrase:
"I'm not going anywhere... but doooowwwnnn"

Maybe he's still got a slim possibility at Renault. Given that Heikki is offered an adequate proposal to move to Köln, perhaps Fisi would remain at Enstone. Otherwise, Briatore would wave Fisi good bye, in order to make room for his "Prodigal Son", and Heikki would end teaming with Alonso. Will you guess who would be #1 driver?
