I think he totally deserved it, but as the championship has come to a close and all the spy crap, its become very political but i think it makes us forget the excellent work he did at the start of the season, thats what makes him so good, if anything its a shame that he has all this negative feedback surrounding him, he has done nothing wrong, you can pick all you like about trivial things and make them big, the media is only doing that to gain attention. I hope he takes great pride in his acheivement

F1 » Lewis 'buzzing' ahead of decider

Is Lewis Hamilton feeling pressured? Apparently not... he is buzzing though.

All Hamilton needs to do is follow Alonso, irregardless of what Kimi do in front. I doubt if the other drivers outside of the Ferrari team will ever "out dice" the two Mclarens!

This championship is all wrapped up. Hamilton is new world champion.

Not deserved...tut ..tut! What kind of a comment was that? If he does wrap it up (and I hope he does), find me a worthier champion.

C'mon on Lewis£¡

Well Lewis has seemed to do well without him until before this season. Fernando on the other hand, will need to find someone elses sideburns to copy!

Erm, is it not true that lewis hasn't had help from Alonso in the past few races.... outpaced him in Fuji, was much quicker in china until the tire fiasco and looks much better in brazil?

I don't get where the negativity comes from, re Lewis. Ok, he's had a run with Ron's help, but he wouldn't have recieved that help if he didn't show outstanding promise from a young age. He's had controversial moments, but who hasn't?

It's a sport, and with any sport, you get decisions that go for you and against you. All Lewis has done is make the best of whats been on offer, and lets not forget he's had a lot to contend with off track in his first season.

Just to add as well, Lewis hasn't ever raced in Brazil before and yet he was .5 of a second better than the rest of the field within 6 laps. That says a lot about his talent imo and i wish him all the best...he's had a stunning debut season, especially when you consider all the crap thats been flying around during it.
