Yeah when you can drive and use your brain at the same time, what a *******

All you had to do was finish either ahead or just behind Alonso and you went for the win and screweed up, what a moron!!

At this rate Ron Dennis will be keeping Alonso and selling you off to another team, I think I can safely say that you've lost alot of adoring fans with your pathetic attempt at driving a Formula One car today, waht a loser!

Couldn't agree more, all he had to do was use his brain but guess that's too much to ask of Hamilton, after all Ron Dennis and McLaren have been his brain for the last 10 years.

How could he think and drive a racing car at the same time and his precious father wasn't in the car with him to make simple decisions for him like stay cool and drive your own race, don't get involved in needless battles for position, focus on what you've got to do!

He has lost big time today, it's due to his inability to use his head, he may have got away with it in GP2 but in F1 he's clearly not good enough!!!

Wow, one mistake (admittedly a poorly timed one) and Hamilton is the worst driver on the grid. If it was an electrical glitch or something, then it isn't his fault. China was a hash, but again not entirely his fault. Why are people finding it hard to recognise that he is a rookie and to finish 2nd in your first season is outstanding... Not sure what else he has to do to win some people over.

I must have been watching a different race than the first two people who have commented. Yes, he did try and get the position back on the first lap and ran wide losing 3 places, but that wasn't what cost him the title. When he had his problem, he had just repassed Heidfeld and would have easily finished 3rd considering the problems that Alonso was having. No, what cost him the title is that he went from 6th position down to 18th when the gearbox went into neutral. His drive and overtaking moves after that were excellent, compromised by a strange 3 stop strategy by McLaren.

Afraid you may have blown your one and only chance Mr Hamilton. You had it easy for the best part of the season, what's the chances of McLaren being so strong next year?
And thank heavens for today's result! This whole season has been like the 'The Lewis Hamilton Show', makes me sick. If he won we would probably have had it stuffed down our thoughts all winter as well.

Yeah, a lot sooner than you may think my little beauty!

Looks like you may win the championship on a technicality, not the way to win a championship but I'm sure you'll take it any way you can Lewis!
I'm sure your Father will anyway!

Shame you couldn't do it on the track though, that's where a true champion does his talking!
