No choice but to appeal?? How about admitting you cheated, got caught, and you just lost the World Drivers Championship fair and square.

Okay, so penalise the car but not the drivers? Just as it wasn't Hamy fault with using 2 sets of wets. As RD said the team made the silly mistake.
Also, After losing the drivers' title at the final hurdle, McLaren boss
Ron Dennis hit out at the rise of internet media. he actually blames the internet on his teams failings. What next? Alonso's hair was to long?

Should McLaren win any appeal on fuel, the FIA should also appeal the decision not to penalize Hamilton for his wet tire faux-pas. If McLaren want the drivers championship decided in the court of appeals, then let it be so, but make sure you look at all the events of the weekend.

If McLaren win the title in this fashion I will no longer watch this crap.
Hamy was always yapping about winning on the track, and now it
looks like he's going to have his *** kissed by Dennis if he wins
via someone elses mistake. ferrari waxed their asses on the track
and I'm a Jarno fan.

If you claim that you had no choice, then release a statement saying that whatever the outcome Kimi will be world champion and we were beaten fair and square in both chasmpionships by 1 point (even if Mclaren were not docked all constructors points Ferrari still would have won by 1 point!) I am sure Hamilton would not like to win in this way and yet again it is Dennid demonstrating that he cannot bear to lose and is blaming anything and everything except HIS teams failings.Millions will stop watching if Kimi is not confirmed as Champion...Time for the FIA to step in! :?

Hey John Cross:

Silly us! We thought that with FIA's ruling on the massive fine and the constructors championship handed to Ferrari, it all was a past history. How dumb of us!
In case you did not notice, this trend is about an appeal on the gasoline matter, not the spying row.

Reminds me again of Ron's words: "Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser" :p
