Schumi was too busy living the high life in his Castle I guess, never mind - Toad was there in his place and gave Kimi a big hug n' kiss for his win. (No wonder Kimi broke open the champagne early, he probably had a warning this would happen and needed to get drunk to forget the horror!!).

On reflection Kimi will be pleased Schumi didn't turn up in Brazil - when he did at the start of the year, Kimi failed!

F1 is a lot more fun without Schumi, much less predictable as Massa was in the running right up to the end - ulike poor Rubens was with Schumi!

So on balance, stay away Schumi, please?

Ya, Schumi did ZERO for F1 and so has Massa & Kimi. The only
personnel that have really pushhed & promoted F1 are Dennis, Whitless, Hammy and Brundel.
Piquet JR. will do nothing as did Damon, Nigel and Gilles. Italians are cheaters!

i dont agree with the comments that torrance & grumpy_doctor have made, schumi was a great personality for F1, at least when he won he showed a bit of emotion etc. Most f1 drivers these days are like robots. And to say Rubens never had a chance in Ferrari wasn't all down to schumi - schumi was consistently near the front whereas Rubens would have off days where he would finish low in the points. Rubens was never the talent Schumi was anyway

Schumi may have had his faults but he was a real character and towards the end of his career when he started to become more vulnerable and his results less predictable then I think more people actually began to like him. Sport needs 3D personalities like him, a pantomine villian not sponsor friendly, corportate focussed bland robots. Alonso may have realised this and is having a crack at filling those boots - I'm not sure his feet are big enough yet though.
