Hamilton is more modest and magnanimous than his erstwhile Mclaren-Mercedes Team honchos. Or perhaps, Lewis is smart enough not to get involve here. He knew he was outdriven, out-raced last Sunday.

got to give credits for lewis, mclaren should listen to their driver, after all the reason they said was for the best interest of their driver.

Lewis,
Don't tell us, tell Ron Dennis. Or better yet, the FIA.
If Ron says he has to appeal as its in his teams interests, and yet the man who stands to benefit from this appeal doesn't want it to happen. Drop the appeal.
Unless its all talk???
It will be interesting to see what takes place!
Surely if no one really wants this to happen, it will all go away and Kimi can finally enjoy his hard earned championship!

While I like every englishman would have loved to see Lewis taking the championship I would hate to see him get it via BMW and Saubers stupidity with their fuel temps. I'm heartened by the fact that Lewis also feels the same way. Lets just let it all go and look forward to a hopefully a better new season and Lewis doing the job properly.

I am sure he wants to be champion anyhow, but the public opinion would be so much against him that IT is better to play the good boy. LH, work a little harder in your simulators, but dont forget to put the emotional pressure of the end of the season. Maybe next year...Congrats Ferrari, Kimi, JT ans Massa.

Unfortunately Lewis's employers think differently, they will do anything to get the title, even cheat!

The last thing anybody wants is for the FIA or courts to take weeks to make a decision! What on earth is wrong with all these people? Why can they not come out on TV and make a formal statement to clear this up once and for all. Whitmarsh says they had to do it for the fans and their drivers. Both drivers have said they are against it - and most MC and F1 fans are against it. While this is going on, Kimi, his family and fans cannot celebrate psychologically 100%. He can't take up any duties of F1 Champ - or start preparing mentally for next year.

MC hopes are fading fast from all sides, but they can't bring themselves to withdraw the appeal. Just reflects the season they've just given us!
