IF THE APPEAL IS SUCCESSFUL THEN IT SHOULD BE CONTRUCTORS POINTS DEDUCTED NOT DRIVERS AS IN THE CASE OF MCLAREN THEIR DRIVERS WERE NOT PENALIZED WHEN IN REALITY THEY SHOULD BE HAVE BEEN BECAUSE AFTER ALL IF MCLAREN WERE GUILTY OF SPYING THEN THE DRIVERS HAD AN ADVANTAGE. MCLAREN SHOULD GIVE UP AND LET KIMI ENJOY HIS WELL EARNED CHAMPIONSHIP.

well the time for a team to have two very competitive drivers has gone ... at least that's what flavio briatore said ... and he has a very good point ... a team should clearly have a #1 and #2 driver ... but if the result on track is the other way round, the one with the most chance to the title should be the #1 ... just like eddie irvine and schumaker in 1998 ... otherwise the result will be a disaster ... back to history when maclaren had senna and prost, both of them destroyed the other competiion winning all except one ... but this year alonso and lewis weren't able to repeat that performance ... in the end kimi has the most wins ...

Why do people keep saying that mclaren were stupid not to just back 1 driver half way through the year. The only reason i don't like Ferrari is because of the way they always do this. I think the only way a driver can win a untarnished championship is to win it with no help from a team mate. No disrespect to shuie but i felt all his chapionships were tarnished by this fact. He was a great driver and didn't need the help of a team mate but he always had to have no 1 status. A true F1 fan should want the same in the fact that all drives have a chance of the title. This is just my opionion

It would appear on the basis of facts known to us all. in my opinion, McLaren were not allowed to have one of their drivers win the drivers championship. To keep the public interest world wide in the last 2 races, and after being stripped off all the constructors points, McLaren secretly were instructed to throw the last 2 races in favour of any other team, (instead of stripping the McLaren drivers of their points too at that time)...... as this would have caused a public outburst, but more importantly ..........loss of TV interest.........shame on the entire F1 circus. As Eddie Jordan says...why did LH have 3 pit stops.

Hamilton as predicted does not want a handed down title.

Maclaren are just being sore losers, the fact that Lewis and Alonso can admit as much should give them a clue. There are not many drivers who deserves a Championship as much as Kimi. It is Maclaren themselves who helped Kimi to lose championships and now they have done the same to Lewis and Alonso.

They should rather start thinking about next year, instead for worrying about something that has already been decided on track.

Ferrari would've won constructor's anyway. Ferrari: 204 points, McLaren: 203 points. It's pretty amazing really, how McLaren managed to screw up the season completely with a dang fine car (be it Ferrari's or not), a 2-time WC and the best rookie ever. It takes special talent to lose a lead of 17 points in two races. No manager would get away with such result considering the resources. And now with this appeal goes any shred of dignity they had left. Well done Mac!
