Declaring a special relationship like this surely means that he's unfit to govern the FIA. It should be a totally independent body, not a mutual back-scratching club.

Completely agree with IH8 FERRARI

If the FIA found the FERRARI floor illegal in Oz then why weren't the points deducted for both drivers & constructors championship?

And to state that his (MM) relationship with Monty 'whatever hisname is' is very personal is beyond the pale. He shouldn't resign, he should be sacked IMMEDIATELY.

But in the interview he also said he did have a good relationship and a long one with Ron Dennis but, has a better and easier relationship with Di Montezemelo. If he gets one with LMD that is fine, so long it does affect his ability to govern to the FIA to the extent he may choose to get Ferrari better treatment than McLaren and the other teams then he should go.

Besides Ferrari have been in F1 since the very beginning in the days of Ascari and Fagoli. McLaeren have only been in F1 since the late 1960s when Bruce Mclaren since started building his own chassis. So Ferrari has a rather large head start on McLaren in building good relations with the FIA.

Protect 'vunerable Ferrari' that big bucks, dirty cheating, race fixing organisation. no wonder when they shout "fine" he says "how much"! It sounds like luca comes crying to him telling tales on bad ron! What a load of bull. how much protection has he given mclaren and hamilton from the spanish press this year, or alonso form the British?

It shouldn't matter if a team is Ferrari or Force India, the head of the FIA should be treating them as equals, with the same incentives and punishments.

This is why Mosley should resign. There does appear to be a rule for Ferrari and another for other teams. This appeared on numerous occasions when Michael Schumacher was driving for them and again this year.

Moseley states "Should we find irregularities on a Ferrari – like the moveable floor after the Australian Grand Prix– it is removed and banned.”

This maybe the case, but this amounts to nothing more than a slap on the wrist.
Do Ferrari ever get docked points or issued with large fines for their constant rule breaking ?

Of course they don't!!!!!!

So the MM & the FIA (Ferrari Innocence Assured) have finally opened up that FIAT (Ferrari Innocence Assured Trainers) have a much closer and influential relationship with them than the other teams.

The whole of this year's events in F1 have begun to unravel this unspoken truth between the parties concerned.
What are the other teams & manufacturers going to do now? If they have any gumption they will withdraw from the F1 calander with immediate effect until the FIA governing body is overhauled & all the teams have equal parity within the sport.

MM's statement has made his position as an impartial head o0f the FIA governing boby untenable.
But will he go ? NO! :? FIA are corrupt! ;)
