Declaring a special relationship like this surely means that he's unfit to govern the FIA. It should be a totally independent body, not a mutual back-scratching club.

The last few years have sapped whatever interest I've ever had in F1 - despite Lewis Hamilton making it 'interesting' for Brits again this year. In 2007 we've had lies, cheats, spies, bull****, back-stabbing, poor sterwardship, School-for-scoundrels-style poor gamesmanship, double-standards and now an out-an-out admission of favouritism from Mosely - who quite frankly really should go. It's little wonder the sport is in decline. Ecclestone and Mosely should move aside for younger people more in touch with REAL life and REAL sporting ventures. F1 is no longer a sport. It's poor racing - although Hamilton has redressed this a little by showing Mansell-esque balls. I won't be watching in 2008.

Although this was always known. I find it deeply disturbing. I think the other 10/11 teams should give the FIA a two fingered salute and set up on there own championship as they should have done when Ferrari back stab them previously.

This only goes to prove that the FIA couldn't manage a piss up in a brewery!!!!!!

Yup, this year has, without a doubt in my mind, seen the highest highs of recent times in the sport to possibly the lowest lows to date.

Ferrari is more important than the rest? Go suck on your tenure! Old dogs die when they lose their teeth. Unfortunately, they make a mess of everything around them on their way out, trying to grasp at any and every inkling of an opportunity to prolong the inevitable. That being said, I think it would be a shame to not see the Ferrari brand in motor racing - I don't want to see them go, just made to stand in line with everyone else.

Mosely's got to go, no question. He's compromised and a liability to unbiased governance of motorsport, 'specially F1.

As a point of fact, the FIA did not discover the Ferrari floor was illigal, McLaren did, thanks to a Ferrari employee. Was ther an FIA observer in the Ferrari pit when Massa handed the title to his team mate? No; Ferrari can do what they like and Mosley has just confirmed this like the arrogant waste of space he is. This man is a real danger to the sport and needs to go now before he makes it F(Ferrari)1 and we all stop watching.

My, my... haven't Ferrari fans gone quiet in this thread? Don't tell me they actually realise 'their' High and Mighty team is above the law?

Mad Max needs to pack his bags and **** off to Italy where I'm sure John Toad and Co would welcome him as a fully-fledged team member...

McLaren, not to mention every single non-Ferrari F1 fan, has every right to feel abused with what's gone on this season.

how stupid
do you really think that mad max says something like this if he really favours one team.
of course ferrari is the most important team in f1, without ferrari u can only take interest from uk.
wasnt it the same FIA made lots of rule changes and brought an anti-schumi point system after 2002 season which ferrari dominated.
and floor of ferrari it may come to you strange since most of u didnt understand a thing about FIA rules and tests, but try to keep in mind, that floor passed from all FIA tests and without changing test methods or limits u cannot ban a device. also try to remember that including McCheat losts of team changed their floor system according the new test limits.
