Mr. Mosley must keep his mo;;uth shu;t because Mclaren and their fanatic supporters are using his outspoken character to get the spy story buried as soon as possible.Whatever happened in Brazil, Ferrari were not involved as Mclaren were in the spy story. Ron Dennis has two great drivers and this year they have done miracles since god knows when. These two great drivers got excellent results not bea]cause they were riding mules but they were driving cars that have improved immensely and the spy story has helped them alot to learn more about the secrets behind Ferraris success. So please dont waste time to cover up for the mistakes that have bveen committed by Dennis and Co. :-o

ALL MCLAREN/LH SUPPORTERS SHOULD CONSIDER THAT EVEN IF D CARS IN QUESTION BE DISQUALIFIED IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT D DRIVERS WILL B DISQUALIFIED AS WELL. FUEL IS THE MANUFACTURERS' RESPONSIBILITY AND SO D DRIVERS NEED NOT SUFFER. IF THEY FEEL THAT D DRIVERS SHOULD ALSO B DISQUALIFIED , THEN WHAT ABOUT D FI ESPIONAGE THAT MCLAREN COMMITED? SHOULDN'T THE DRIVERS HAVE BEN DISQUALIFIED TOO???????? SO COME ON GUYS!

If the boot was on the other foot im sure ferrari would be appealing and max's comments would probably not be so harsh.

Ferraris tyre choice in china(i think) in the wet were interesting with they went out on inters and everyone else on full wets, are ferrari trying to tell us that they didnt know the fia said to use full wets. The ferrari camp bend the rules slightly all the time the two ferraris could have had a very strong advantage if the rain had eased and they were all ready running on inters.

It is one rule for ferrari and one rule for all the other teams and i do believe kimi deserves the title if bmw etc were using the wrong temp fuel the team should be fined only

You don't need a Max Mosley to be unconvinced by Mclaren appeal. Obviously, this article further slants and skews FIA of its impartiality or partiality. Or whichever ways you believe, the fact remains Lewis and Alonso lost the Driver's championship in Brazil, while Team Mclaren-Mercedes lost its Manufacturer's championship by being caught cheating.

It's time to move on. Who knows what will happen next year. :)

F1 is now so far removed for anything realistic that it defies logic.

Musicracerau I totally agree with your above statement......
I was about to add is it me or has F1 turned to CRAP you summed it up beautifully

I don't really want to wade into this as F1 is now so far removed for anything realistic that it defies logic.

The only thing I wanted to clear up is someone saying that Renault had a "revolutionary mass damper device"... these, and devices that perform a similar function, have been used in sports car racing since the 90's

The Ferrari device was legal when it ran in Australia. It was designed to pass the Tech Regs test and it did. The test was changed after Australia because the FIA felt the Ferrari device was outside the spirit of the Regs even though it complied with the letter. The Renault mass damper was ruled illegal when the FIA discovered it had a significant effect on the aerodynamics of the car and was thus a prohibited aerodynamic device. Clearly it was illegal from day one, unlike the Ferrari floor. derek0113 does not suggest Renault should be penalised. This shows that people like him simply cannot think these things through properly. F1 is a bit too difficult for them.

Ferrari used an illegal device which Stepney spilled the beans on, what happened to them, they were just told to get it off and they kept their points, Alonso should have been promoted and Hamilton second. remember what happened to renualt when their revolutionary mass damper device was discovered it was taken off and who instigated it. And then Honda had to sit out two races as punishment for the fuel tank. Precidents are set and they have to be maintained and seen to be upheld, rules and made and they also have to upheld. but the hypocracy that goes on in Formula One is incredible. Look forward to Valencia for some real motor sport

don't fall out over F1, its not worth it, the open minded views of a president who should uphold a point of neutrality in all issues is obviously flawed with Max, his judgement is clouded before the appeal starts and a fair hearing is certainly not what McLaren will get. If he takes it in his mind to rule Mclaren's appeal frivolous then what else can McLaren do. McLaren should have asked Red Bull to take up the appeal as they would have benefitted with Coulthard geting more points. But no. Then we look back on the season with claims of mclaren using ferrari technical info and yet the Mclaren was unstoppable. (contd)
