The fuel was illegal and therefore the teams should have been penalised, as McLaren certainly would have been. However, the title should not have been changed. Obviously McLaren could never have a fair hearing with such an openly biased president of the FIA. It is strange that there is an allegation that Renault were in possession of McLaren material but it has already been commented on by Moseley as insignificant. with such obvious bias the sport will remain tainted for a long time to come, and McLaren will find they are penalised for every transgression real or imagined. I think I will stick to motoGP. At least there is some real racing and lot less politics

Probably! Everyone seems to be missing a point :
was BMW Sauber and Williams' fuel illegal or not?
Never mind the consequences or the penalties.
If it was illegal then they should be penalised and
this could easily be in a way that does not take the
Championship away from Kimi, who deserves it as much
as Lewis or Fernando.

Although it was a great season to watch the reality was that the powers that be were out to get McLaren. They used the rules to acheive their aims in this regard.
Now the world and F1 is told forget the rules they dont realy matter as long as it suits the end result of McLaren not winning.I dont think anyone felt that Lewis should be awarded the title via the fuel issue but BMW should be penelised as the rules are clear in regards to the temeratures. Also I bet renualt dont get a 50 million fine.
Lets see next year if the rules are applied in the same manner.

The decision made by the court to throw out the appeal made by Mclaren is the right one.All the people that matter at Mclaren including Hamilton said repeatedly that their aim was not to deprive Raikkonen of the championship. They only forgat to brief
their lawyer who argued exactly for the opposite.Give me a break.Mclaren must be thinking that we are all a bunch of fools. The british press is fixing a halo around Hamilton's head.He is an exceptional driver but like all champions he has a ruthless streak. It is also worth noting that saints never win championships.Hamilton would be well advised to follow Raikkonen and talk less ,even if this may not please Mr.Ecclestone!!!

this is because ferrari believe that taylor as been spying on them to see if he can get better aerodynamics on his darts.
it has been said that mr b hearn was told by max moseley, kick him out of the tournament or wake up with a horses head next to you in the morning.
mr hearn was heard to say **** me to which mr mosely replied sorry but i'm to busy ******* most of the bosses at ferrari.

After all McLaren did in the 2007 season, and not only the Stepney case there behaviour is just unbelibebel.
All this mess is caused bi the decision of not DNF McLaren after the Stepney saga.
What a champion would be Hamilton? pushed in front bi the team with unfair methods.
Lets see him in 2008, Who will join team with him, who will work for himm ?

Yes it was the right decision, the appeal was just a last gasp attempt to steal the title from Ferrari. I would have been outraged if the appeal went in Mclaren's favour, after the spy scandal they should have been thrown out of the championship. It would have also been unfair on Williams and BMW if they got disqualified as Mclaren weren't disqualified for breaking the rule concerning the amount of tyre sets allowed to use in practice. Mclaren are hypocrites!!!
