F1 » Silverstone slammed as worst circuit in F1.

This is very sad news for us British F1 fans!

Just take a look at this scenario:

Here we have Lewis Hamilton fleeing the UK to live in Switzerland in order to avoid TAXES!

Lewis Hamilton's Taxes should be used to develop the Silverstone Track!

Lewis Hamilton keeps on taking from British F1 fans and has given nothing back.

Why is Lewis avoiding to pay the taxes that can be used to rebuild Silverstone!

It is Lewis Hamilton's duty to this nation to pay his taxes in the UK so Silverstone can be modernized!

Yawn!!.. The annual dig at Silverstone- Bernie change the record!!!

What does that make Brasil then? Do the team members get mugged outside of the silverstone circuit?

Silverstone is an old pos track facilities wise. And personally i dont even like the lay out. Brands is so much better

Just Bernie trying to get more money for the British GP, and money is the name of the game in modern F1.

If he really was so worried about the facilities he should give BRDC a discount instead for a couple of years - so they can spend that money improving them. The British Government has already stated they wont fund the event, so no point Bernie going on and on about it.

Mark Lawrence: That has got to be the most pointless post ever! Why the hell should Hamilton pay for Silverstone improvements? Your missing the point entirely... Hamilton isn't the only person in the world to live outside of the UK for tax reasons. No where is Hamilton mentioned or involved within this news article.

Back to the subject at hand, according to the article Bernie didn't seem to single out any particular party/groups failure at the circuit. All he is putting forward is that fact the UK government should help fund the circuit to help keep F1 at Silverstone, at at least within the UK.

I prefer Brands but I don't think that would cope with the traffic too well.

What a ridiculous comment from Mark Lawrence. Why should lewis pay for Silverstone, wasn't it his presence in this years championship that gave Silverstone one of its biggest crowds. As for avoiding taxes - good on him, anyone in their right mind would do that especially from the thieving Labour Goverment we have at the moment.

If Bernie didn't charge so much, maybe Silverstone would have money for upgrades! It's just Bernie saying he wants more money.

Maybe it was a joke by Mark, but it didn't come across that funny.

Besides, he didn't even use any smileys.
